Wilda Marie Bohon McBee age 90 years, a resident of Morgantown, WV departed this life Monday afternoon, August 11, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family and under the care of WVU Medicine Hospice.

She was born Saturday, May 18, 1935, at Parsons, WV a daughter of the late James Junior Bohon and Edna Marie Summerfield Bohon. On September 11, 1954, she was married to James Richard McBee, who preceded her in death November 18, 2003. Surviving are two sons, Richard L. McBee of Beverly, Robert D. McBee of Morgantown; two daughters, Anna M. Bonner and husband Thomas of Kerens, Anita L. Daugherty and husband Larry of McClellandtown, PA; one sister, Thelma Myers and husband Junior of Reedsville; seven grandchildren, Tammy, Christopher, Amanda, Maria, Josh, Jordan and Jack "Jay"; ten great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are one daughter, Paula K. McBee; one brother, Willard Bohon; and two sisters, Lydia Credal, and Vonda Phillips.

She attended the schools of Tucker County, had worked at the Masonic Eastern Star Home, White Gables, and Nella's Nursing Home as a Nurses' Aide. She was a loving mom and a wonderful cook who made the best pumpkin pie and fruitcakes. She enjoyed quilting, embroidery, and canning. Wilda will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 16, 2025. Final Rites will be conducted at the funeral home, Saturday, at 1:00 PM. The Reverend Kevin Gainer will officiate and interment will follow at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman, WV.
