Wilfred Leo Bergeron

Wilfred Leo Bergeron, Sr., also known as Willie, 78, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away at his home on December 19, 2024, after a brief fight with cancer and dementia.
Willie was born on June 25, 1946. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. In 1967, Willie met Donna, his wife. Willie and Donna went on spending 54 years married and during that time they had 6 children, Larry Rackliff, Wilfred Bergeron, Jr., Donna Bergeron, Jr., Rhonda Bergeron, Wendy Bergeron and Mindy Bergeron. Willie had several grandkids and great grandkids.
Willie's passion in life was being a truck driver for many years and then retired as a cab driver (car #10).
Outside his professional life, Willie's greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a very dedicated husband, father and Pa, who loved his family dearly, and a friend to many. Willie always had words of wisdom and a good joke to share with all. He was always a father figure to many that had the pleasure of meeting him. During Willie's free time, he enjoyed bingo, poker (family game nights) and scratching lottery tickets.
Willie was predeceased by his parents, Irene and Rosario Bergeron, his sister, Theresa Janks, and his infant daughter, Wendy Bergeron.
He is survived by his wife Donna Bergeron, 5 kids, several grandkids, great grandkids and his sister, Rita Foisie of Texas.
SERVICES: Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:30 pm at Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. A funeral service will follow at 7:30 pm. Interment and committal prayers will follow on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Cemetery, 101 Kinsley St., Nashua, NH 03060. Friend and family are invited to attend.
