Wilhelm J. Frank, age 90 of Sayreville passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Roosevelt Care Center in Old Bridge surrounded by his loving family. Born in Sayreville he was a lifelong resident. He was a proud US Army Veteran. Before retiring, Wilhelm worked as a maintenance engineer at Johnson & Johnson in Milltown for 42 years.

He enjoyed playing softball and bowling, was an avid Lionel train hobbyist, and loved taking trips to Atlantic City. He was a former Boy Scout Leader and a member of the Johnson & Johnson Nut and Bolt Club, where he often organized and ran bus trips. Above all else, Wilhelm was a devoted family man who cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.

He is predeceased by his parents Klemens and Rosina Frank; his sisters Theresa Glowacki, Rosina Linder and Helen Fehr; and his daughters-in-law, Janet Frank and Jacqueline Frank.

Surviving are his wife of 69 years, Shirley Combs Frank; his children, William Frank, Robert Frank and his wife Susan, Barry Frank, Lisa Luma and her husband Kenneth and Raymond Frank and his partner Maureen Loughman; his grandchildren Alyssa (Eric), Billy (Ashley), Kirstyn (Michael), Sofie, Robert, Rachel, Steven (Katelyn), Matthew, Megan, Kevin (Brooke), Brendan (Samantha), Dayna and Krystal (Amir); his great-grandchildren, Skyler, Dawn, Jonathan, Emma, Chloe and Amarii, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, 12pm at the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main St, Sayreville, with a 12:30pm Mass at Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville. Burial will follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Parlin.
