Willa Mae Cornn

Willa Mae Cornn, 72, of Greensburg, passed away at 7:05 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Decatur County Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 14, 1953, in Greensburg, Indiana, the daughter of Walter and Marilyn R. (Brown) White. She was a lifelong resident of Decatur County and a 1973 graduate of Greensburg High School. She retired from GECOM after 17 years of service. She was a member of the Community Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed camping, motorcycle riding, and spending time with family. Willa married Omer L. Cornn on January 5, 1974, in Greensburg, Indiana. He survives along with her sons, Omer Cornn II, of Morristown, Gary (Stacey) Cornn of Batesville, and Chris Cornn of Greensburg; a brother, Carl White (Kathy) of Greensburg; grandchildren, Delaney, Drake, Sierra, Austin, and Ashlee. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Raymond White. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Perry Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Union Presbyterian Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, January 12 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses through the funeral home.
