Willard "Willy" Lee McAtee. born on February 18, 1956, in Osaka, Japan, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, at The Cottages of Carmel. He was a beloved brother, uncle and son, remembered for his sharp wit. Willy is survived by his sister and her husband, Toni and Bob Spradling and his brother John McAtee, alongside his nephew and nieces, John (Leah), Emily (Stacy) and Rebekah (Ricky) and two precious great nephews.

Willy dedicated over 25 years of his professional life to his role as a computer analyst at McGraw-Hill marking him as a reliable and knowledgeable figure within the company.

A man of simple joys, Willy was known for his humorous and unusual take on life, famously saying, "The world is a crazy place."

A memorial service in his honor will be held in the future.

The family wishes to thank his wonderful doctors, Dr. Kubica and Dr. Donaldson, the VNA Hospice team and the staff at the Cottages for their loving care of him during his last days.
