William Adams

William Leigh Adams, age 56, passed away on August 11, 2025 in Orem, Utah. He was born November 14, 1968 in Provo, Utah to Nathan Albert Adams and Kathleen Allen. He was raised in Pleasant Grove and graduated from Pleasant Grove High – class of '87. He served in the Fortaleza Brazil Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After his mission, he joined the Army and served with the 82nd Airborne Division in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Will was an avid Boy Scout supporter and served for over 20 years in various capacities to help countless boys achieve their full potential. He also served in many callings in the ward, from Primary to Stake High Councilman. His favorite calling was that of a teacher. He had an extensive knowledge of the scriptures and was constantly seeking to learn new things. He worked as a professional Chef for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Besides working at the temple, he enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, carving, fishing, camping, hiking, and anything out there in the great outdoors. And of course, bearing testimony of Christ in any setting. In school, he played the tuba, wrestled, and skipped classes as much as he could get away with. He is preceded by his father, Nathan, his older brothers, Samuel and Edmund Adams. Will is survived by his wife Rose, 3 children, one grandchild, his mother, six brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Geneva Heights Second Ward Chapel, 590 N 900 W Orem, Utah. Family and friends may attend a visitation from 10:00 – 10:45 am prior to the service. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
