William Stuart Anderson, 80, of Delanco, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024. Born on June 13, 1944 in Riverside, NJ, to James S. and Florence (Dann) Anderson. Brother to Robert Anderson (Gail) and the late Joan Hamlin (Dick). Uncle to Joanne K. Pestridge (late Raymond), James Hamlin (Judy), Richard Hamlin (Sharon), Deborah Anderson (John) and the late Scott Anderson and the late Michael Anderson. He was great uncle to Samantha Nims(Andrew), Alex Pestridge, Jamie Hamlin, Julia Hamlin, Natalie Hamlin, and Dylan Faux. Great great uncle to Logan Nims, Jaxon Nims, and Zane Faux. William graduated from Burlington City High School in 1962. He worked as a Union electrician with IBEW Locals 439 and 351 and was recently honored as a 60-year member by the IBEW. Uncle Billy or "Wobbles," as he was affectionately known by his union brothers and family, loved spending time camping at Baker's Acres, flounder fishing out of Tuckerton or going to yard sales and Columbus Market. He loved traveling to Florida on the auto train. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to pitch in and help his family and friends with whatever they needed fixed. He spent many hours with his sister, Joan and Uncle Billy never missed a family party. He could always be found having dinner at Jo and Ray's, hanging out with his nephews, Jim and Rick or just riding around Delanco in his van. His family would like to give special thanks to his hospice nurse Patty Anthony. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday, October 28th at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, from 9:00am-11:00am with his funeral service beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Monument Cemetery in Edgewater Park, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in William's name may be made to Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice.
