William 'Billy' P. Andrews, 30, of Superior died unexpectedly after a tragic accident on Sunday, November 24, 2024.
Billy was born in Duluth, MN on April 22, 1994, the son of Shane and Bonnie (Shay) Andrews. He graduated from Superior High School with the class of 2012.
He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator with Stack Brothers for 12 years. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #49.
Billy's kind and fun personality made it easy to be his friend and so he had many. He enjoyed countless hours in his garage with his best buddies customizing their trucks. Billy enjoyed 4-wheeling, going camping, family movie night and dinner, and occasionally enjoying a fine whiskey or cold beer. He was an avid football fan, especially cheering for the MN Vikings. Billy was effortlessly loved by everyone he knew and met.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bill Shay and paternal grandfather, Carl Andrews.
Billy is survived by his parents, Shane and Bonnie Andrews of Superior; brothers, Benjamin and Addison (Liv Smith) Andrews, both of Superior; maternal grandmother, Darla Shelhon of Superior and paternal grandmother, Shirley Andrews of Duluth; aunts and uncle, Heidi (Bill) O'Brien, Kim Andrews, and Carl (Lisa) Andrews; cousins, Malley Kraft, Eddy O'Brien, Cliff Krueger, Aaron Andrews, Jada Nichols, Garett Jorgenson, extended family and dear friends; and his beloved dog, Belle. Billy's family would like to extend a special thank you to his dear friend Justin Lepage for taking care of his spoiled dog child Belle during this difficult time.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 2nd from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, Dec. 3rd from 11:00 a.m. until the Noon funeral service at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N 34th St., with Gary Banker as officiant.
Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery, Duluth MN. Pallbearers will be, Benjamin and Addison Andrews, Clifford Krueger, Aaron Andrews, Eddy O'Brien, and Justin LePage.
