William Boyd Baker, 87, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025. He was born in Sonoraville, Georgia, on June 22, 1937, to the late Willie and Gladys Baker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Neal Baker, Frank Baker, Arthur Baker; sister, Betty Ann Baker Denning; son-in-law, Ed Clance; very special friend, Emma Roberts.
He is survived by his daughters, Pam Seabolt Clance, Vanessa (Alan) McCormick, Valerie (Tim) Allen; grandchildren, Christy Bryant, T.J. (Lauren) Allen, Tucker (Marlee) Allen, Haley (David) Thomas, Carli (Jake) Gentry, Wes (Avery) McCormick; several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Rev. Jason Pace and Rev.Eddie Brannon officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park.
