William Loye "Buck" Barnhill III

Mr. William Loye "Buck" Barnhill, III, age 67 passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Lakeland Regional surrounded by family. Mr. Barnhill was born May 8, 1958, in Pompano Beach, Florida to William Loye Barnhill, Jr. and Laura Ruth (Whittle) Barnhill. He was a lifetime Polk County resident, graduated from Winter Haven High School Class of 1976 and a member of Lake Shipp Baptist Church in Winter Haven. Buck was a Supervisor in the Shipping/Handling Department at Florida Tile in Lakeland for 28 years and he also worked for Good Shepherd Hospice for 19 years in the office. He enjoyed the ministry, motorcycles, playing golf, hunting, fishing, bowling and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Buck is survived by his loving wife of 29 years – Suzonne Marshall; brother – Curtis (Norma) Barnhill; sister – Teresa (Russell) Beardmore; 3 nephews – Blake Barnhill, Joseph (Stephanie) Butler and Corey Marshall; 3 nieces – Allison (Carl) Waldron, Kellie Marshall and Kaylee Barnhill; 3 great nephews – Hunter Waldron, Parker Waldron and Christopher Marshall; 4 great nieces – Kinley Waldron, Michaela Butler, Delaney Butler and Haylee Marshall. Funeral services will be held 3pm Thursday, September 25th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family request donations in Mr. Barnhill's name to; Good Shepherd Hospice, 450 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, Florida 33823.
