William Edward "Billy" Bartley

William Edward Bartley III, "Billy," 53, died unexpectedly in Louisville, Kentucky, October 2, 2024. He was an artist and musician. He attended Louisville Collegiate School and graduated from Ballard High School. He also attended UofL, and JCTC robotics program. He expressed his musical creativity throughout his life in many bands and as a solo artist. He worked in engineering, including a Grammy nominated recording. He is survived by his mother, Sally Nagel; his father, William E. Bartley, Jr.; his sister, Sarah Bartley; his life love, Erin Doyle, and a large loving extended family. Memorial service will be held 3pm Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Pearsons, 149 Breckenridge Lane. Visitation will be from 1pm - 3pm, prior to the service at Pearsons.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Musicians Emergency Resource Foundation "MERF," 3044 Bardstown Road, Suite 281, Louisville, KY 40205, or to your favorite charity. Arrangements under the direction of Pearson's, "Where Louisville Goes to Remember."
