William Barton Obituary
NISKAYUNA - William F. Barton, 86, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty; as well as three daughters and a grandson.
He received a BA in Economics with a minor in City and Regional Planning from Rutgers University in 1961. He received an MA in Urban Planning from Columbia University in 1965.
William was a long-time employee of New York State/ Department of State for 37 years.
A memorial will be announced at a future date.
