William E. Berkopec passed peacefully on December 2, 2024 at the age of 80. William is proceeded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Ann, sister Patrica and brother Robert. He is survived by his brother-in-law Dennis Horvath and his nieces and nephews; Julie Berkopec, Robert Berkopec, Michael Berkopec, Lynn Berkopec, Brian Berkopec, Jeffery Horvath, Karen Horvath, Linda Horvath, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
William was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He was a successful electrical engineer at Eaton Corporation where he was granted three patents for his work. William was an avid musky fisherman who also enjoyed playing golf.
William will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony at Holy Cross Cemetery.
