William T. Beyer Sr.

William T. Beyer, Sr., age 60, of Derby entered into rest on Sunday, January 8th, 2023, with his loving family by his side.
William "Bill" was born September 3rd, 1962, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of the late Leroy and Patricia (Cisewski) Beyer and was a long-time resident of Derby.
Bill worked his way up from the stock room at the former NY-based home improvement store, Rickel, to be a leader in sales management for the first decade of his working career. Bill changed career paths later in life to embrace his woodworking and carpentry skills. He enjoyed using these skills in his business, Uncle Bill's Helping Hands, where he helped others with projects big and small for many years.
Bill was an avid fisherman and dedicated member of the Sahara Club where he was a courageous, thoughtful, and forever giving friend of Bill W for decades. Bill was vivacious with a larger-than-life character and a very memorable sense of humor. He beamed with pride for his family and adored being a father and grandfather. His love for his family was paralleled only by his love for God.
Bill is survived by many members of his beloved family including his son, William Beyer Jr. and grandson, Ryley; son, James Beyer and his wife, Michelle; brothers, John Beyer, Steve Beyer, and Hanford Christensen; sisters, Debbie Kuharski and Joanne Adams; his companion of 12 years, Lynn O'Brien; and his former spouse, Cynthia Beyer. William is predeceased by his sister, Karen Beyer.
