William "Bill" E. Anderson, 60, of Charlotte passed away on June 10, 2022 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House Huntersville. He was born on March 7, 1962 to Loye Batten Anderson and the late Elmer Anderson. He is also preceded in death by a grandson, Finley Ray Anderson and his pets, Sparky & Buddy. Bill was a longtime member of Liberty Baptist Church where he was very active in Sunday School and the bus ministry. He was also one of the church ushers. He was a good business man and helped with church setups. He was a true giver of himself to others. Bill loved football and was an avid Miami Dolphins and Florida Gators fan.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of 38 years, Carol Nugier Anderson; children, Patrick Anderson, Victor Anderson (Katybeth), Gloria Anderson Elias (Brad), Nicole Anderson, and Phillip Anderson (Jessica); 6 grandchildren, Alexa, Jacob, Ella, Lawson, Kembree, and Mady; very close friend Tony Treece; and his pet, Pebbles.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 3000 Sam Wilson Rd, Charlotte, NC 28214, with Rev. Gary Berry officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen "A Quiet Place" Cemetery, 1462 Armstrong Ford Rd, Belmont, NC 28012.
