William “Bill” C. Sharry, 86, of Hoschton, GA passed away August 4, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Sharry was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Theodore and Barbara Sharry. Bill served in the U.S. Airforce during the Korean war/conflict. He retired from the FAA as an air traffic controller. Bill lived with his family for many years in Huntington Long Island before retiring to Georgia.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Margaret A. Sharry; son and daughter in-law, Bill and Therese Sharry, daughter, Bonita Sharry; grandchildren, Kyle Sharry, Erin Sharry, Alexander Sharry, Ryan Wall, John Frucci, Dean Frucci; and 2 great grandchildren on the way.
A funeral mass will be officiated by Fr. Ignacio Morales at 1pm Friday, August 12th, 2022 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 6439 Spout Springs Rd, Flowery Branch, GA 30542. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 12 from 5-7pm at 6434 Deep Valley Court, Flowery Branch, GA 30542. In lieu of Flowers, please donate to a local food bank of your choice. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed at https://www.popfb.org/livestream .
At a later date, Mr. Sharry’s cremated remains will be laid to rest at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA with the Veterans Alliance performing military honors. Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming is in charge of arrangements. CondolencesTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
