William J. "Bill" Bolia, 69, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2024.
Born on October 18, 1954, in Lake Placid, NY, a son of the late Francis and Sarah (Morey) Bolia.

In Bills spare time, he loved to hunt, fish, collect antiques and go to the Casinos. Bill also was a big help to not just everyone he knew, but also to the Amish Community around him. Most of all, Bill was a loving husband, stepfather, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
On February 14, 1984, Bill married his loving wife, Delia (Martin) Bolia, whom he met while working as a Mechanic at Duane Rentals. Delia was the love of his life and through Delia, Bill gained four stepchildren, Marlene Mango (George Rossi), Robert Mango, Jr (Marcy), Michelle Couball (Robert) and Shirlee Pelosi (John). He is also survived by many grandchildren & great-grandchildren; his brother, Leonard Rosa; his sister, Jeanne Velett; other stepsiblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life for Bill will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 4pm at Bill's House.

Bill was my brother-in-law. If you needed anything, he was there.

I offer my deepest sympathy to Dee and to the rest of Bill's family. I came to know Bill through my brother, Carl Piccone. Bill was Carl's best friend and the two were very loyal and helpful to each other. Bill was the person that my mother relied on to help her with various household issues. My mother was 94 when she died 4 years ago and so through the years, Bill helped her in so many ways-- most memorably he re-tiled her kitchen floor when it was destroyed by a water leak about 8 years ago. He was a kind and patient person and generous to his friends and family. We were all so sad to learn of his passing-- much too soon. We will remember him always with great fondness.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Bill and I worked together in the Motor Pool for a little over two years. Before that I knew him as a truck driver at the Arsenal. I knew him from 2011. He was a very honest man who was dedicated to his work and his wife. He would also do anything to help someone out. He will be very missed. May you rest in peace my friend.
