William F. "Bill" Booth, 99, of Saltsburg, formerly of West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born January 31, 1926 in Meriden, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Granville Booth & Ida H. (Dean) Booth.
Bill proudly served our country with the United States Marines during both World War II & The Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #34 in Wellsburg.
He worked as a silk screen printer for Dawar Technologies in Pittsburgh for many years.
Bill enjoyed fishing with family, reading Western novels, and watching his beloved WVU Mountaineers, the Steelers, and the Penguins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Howard, Melva, Virginia, Louella, Dean, Wayne, Nina, and Loretta; and his in-laws, Melvin & Mary Keeney.
Bill is survived by his wife of 59 ½ years, Kathryn R. (Keeney) Booth; daughters, Mary Patricia (Vincent) Waugaman of Conemaugh Township, Nancy (Mark) Hale of Colorado Springs, CO; as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
At Bill's request, all services are private, and have been entrusted to the Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Saltsburg. A graveside service will be held at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, West Virginia, at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill's memory to the Disabled American Veterans, 1000 Liberty Ave., Suite #1606, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
