Matthew McElroy Obituary
Born on February 25, 1971 in Wilkinsburg, he was a son of the late Orlando McElroy and Judith (Carson) McElroy.
Matt was a 1989 graduate of Gateway High School and proudly served our country with the United States Marine Corp from 1989-1993.
He worked hard for his family in construction, last employed for A. Liberoni, Inc. in Plum. Matt was a member of Faith Alliance Church in Saltsburg.
He loved fishing, being in the woods or on the water. Many laughs were shared at his home spending time with his family and friends. There was never a dull moment with Matt around! His quick wit was always entertaining!
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant sister, Marty.
Matt is survived by his wife of 27 years, Beth A. (Swanson) McElroy; children, Luke (Rayanna) McElroy of Kiski Township, Isaac McElroy of Washington Township; daughter, Faith McElroy of Washington Township; brothers, Michael, Mark (Brandi), and Mitchell (Sandy) McEloy; as well as nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family, there will be no viewing. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Faith Alliance Church in Saltsburg with Pastor Jim Povich officiating at a later date.
