William Botts Obituary
William "Bill" R. Botts Sr, 67, of Amanda passed away on February 26, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born on March 23, 1958 in Lancaster to the late Russell R. and Kathleen (Hooker) Botts. Bill was a true Jack-of-all-trades. He was known as a loving father and grandfather, and friend to all.
He was preceded in death by daughters, Cindy Botts, Amber Campbell; granddaughter, Brandi Botts; brother, Terry Botts; and sister, Carol Botts.
Bill is survived by his children, Tina Botts, William (Heather) Botts Jr., Candy (Leifken) Andrews, Tracy (Lisa) Botts, Valerie Rutter, Brian (Aubrey) Campbell, Amanda (Chris) Ward, Alisha Campbell; grandchildren, Mason (Kassadie) Lane, Keshia Hoey, Corvon Eagle, Tylajei Gibby, Bladen Botts, Jaelynn Botts, Kaylee Botts, Cynthia Botts, Kurt Andrews, Skyra Andrews-Bapst, Ashley Rutter, Dominick Merola, Tracy Botts, Shyanne Lane, Shania Botts, Melinda Fletcher; great grandchildren, Elva Lane and Everhett Lane; sister, Betty Winegardner; ex-wife and mother of the children, Pamela Hutchison; girlfriend, Debra Campbell.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 2, 2026 from 4 pm until 8 pm and again on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 11am until 1pm at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St, Amanda, OH 43102. The funeral will be held at 1pm on Tuesday March 3, 2026 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Amanda Township Cemetery.
