Four Oaks, NC: Mr. William Donald Browning, Jr., age 69, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield, NC, surrounded by his loving family. Graveside Funeral Service will be 2:00PM-Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Four Oaks, NC. Rev. Rodney Brittian and Mr. Rodney Barbour will officiate. 

Mr. Browning was born on May 2, 1955 in Johnston County, NC, to the late William Donald Browning, Sr., and Lois Blackmon Browning. Alongside his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Joshua Clint Browning, Sr., and a granddaughter, Taylor Raygan Hinnant. Mr. Browning owned and operated Boulevard Chevrolet in Lillington, NC, retiring in 2012. He loved the beach, animals, boating, traveling, classic cars, and most importantly spending time with his family. 

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Teresa Langley Browning, daughter, Brandy Browning Hinnant; grandchildren, Autumn Mekayla Browning, Richard Alexander “Ricky” Hinnant, II, Joshua Clint “Josh” Browning, Jr., and William Ashworth “Liam” Hinnant; sister, Cathy Browning Webb and husband, Donald; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the fellowship hall at Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christan Church 164 Barbour’s Chapel Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524. 

The family wishes to thank the 2nd floor ICU doctors, nursing, and staff for their loving care shown to Mr. Browning, and family.

The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
