William Edward Brundige, born on January 4, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully in Athens, Georgia, on November 20, 2024. He was a cherished member of his family and community, known for his warmth, kindness, genuine spirit.

William survived by his beloved daughter Holly (Josh) Epps and his son Michael (Bridgette) Brundige. He found joy in the companionship of his beloved dog, Teddy Bear. William was a loving brother to Jim Jr. (Sharon) Brundige, Bob (Diane) Brundige, and John Brundige, and he held a special place in the hearts of his sisters Susan (Tom) Huber, Shelby (Harry) Justice, Stacy (Buck) DeVane, and Sally Zimmerman. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Linda Walker, two grandchildren, 14 nieces and nephews, and 18 great nieces and nephews, each of whom will carry forward his legacy of love and care.

William was preceded in death by his parents, James Richard and Mary Caley Brundige, his spouse Kimberly Sue Deem Brundige, his brother-in-law Mark Walker, and his sister Shannon Williams. These family members, now departed, were instrumental in shaping the man he became, and he will be remembered alongside them.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate William's life during the visitation on December 6, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3 PM. Both services will be held at Ivie Funeral Home, located at 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, GA, 30529. This gathering will provide an opportunity for those who knew William to share their memories and honor his contributions to their lives.

William Edward Brundige will be greatly missed, but his spirit will continue to live in the hearts of all who loved him. His life was a testament to the importance of family, kindness, and the bonds we share, and his memory will forever be cherished.
