William Buehler Obituary
Born in Newark, NJ to the late Charles E. Buehler and Esther (Giblin) Buehler, Bill resided in Doylestown since 2012 and was a former resident of Jamison, PA and Union, NJ.
He was formerly employed as a Carpenter with Local Union 620 of Madison, NJ and was a paid firefighter with Union Township, NJ.
Bill enjoyed building guitars and violins; was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church of Doylestown, PA; and a Naval Veteran serving in the South Pacific during World War II.
He was the beloved husband of Mary Ellen Fitzgerald and the late Anna Alfiero Buehler; devoted father of William G. Buehler, Jr. (Lauraine), Patricia Ann DeFlores (John); dear brother of the late Clara Lillian Giaimo (late Mario) and Edgar Charles Buehler (late Jacqueline); survived by 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; step-father of Thomas Fitzgerald (Toni), Kathy Moser (Wayne), Anne Haneman (Dan), and Leo Fitzgerald (Lorna); also survived by 10 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive their friends at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 9:30-10:30 am, with a Funeral Mass to begin at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Disabled American Veterans or www.dav.org would be appreciated.
