William "Bo" Burrow

March 7, 1941 – July 1, 2025

William "Bo" Burrow, age 85, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully, surrounded by

family, on July 1, 2025.

Born on March 7, 1941, Bo lived a life defined by quiet strength, hard work, unwavering faith,

deliberate will, and devotion to his family. A hard-working man, Bo spent much of his life

behind the wheel of a truck and operating cement plants, providing for his loved ones with grit,

humility, and determination. He was an entrepreneur for a time; owning his own construction

business. Bo believed in doing what needed to be done and working hard to get it done, never

asking for a handout and never wanting to trouble anyone else.

Bo spent his younger years growing up in Deer Creek where he attended Deer Creek High

School and played on the varsity basketball team. Bo served in the military for a time during his

younger years. He later met and married Phyllis and they began a family in Edmond where they

raised their children.

Though Bo was a man of few words, his actions spoke louder than anything he could say. He

was a protector and a provider, always putting family first. He had a quiet, steadfast faith in God

and knew Scripture well, even if he rarely spoke about it. He loved his wife of 65 years, Phyllis.

His daughter, Tammy, was the light of his life, and he made sure that anyone who came calling

understood just how much she was protected. He lived simply, but with great purpose and

enduring love.

Bo is survived by his beloved wife, Phyllis; his devoted daughter, Tammy; and many family

members and friends who were blessed by his strong presence and deliberate will. Bo had many

grandkids who he cherished and was constantly concerned with their well-being.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Burrow; father, Jack Burrow; brother, Jimmy

Burrow; sister, Carrie Patterson; and nephew, Chris Ward.

A graveside family service will be held on July 18, 2025, in Edmond, Oklahoma. The family

would also like to thank Providence Home Health and Hospice for their care and support of Bo.
