William J. Butzgy

William J. Butzgy, 71 of Hamilton NY passed away at the Abraham House in Rome NY on Tuesday February 6th after a battle with cancer. William was raised in Bethpage, NY and later moved to raise a family of his own in Miller Place, NY. He moved to Hamilton, NY in 2015 to be close to family. He is predeceased by his parents, Elaine & Frederick Butzgy as well as his beloved wife Denise. William is survived by Nancy (sister) and Frank Romeo of Naples FL, Carol (sister) and Ed Staley of Naples FL, John (son) and Michelle Butzgy of Hubbardsville NY, Michael (son) and Jessica Butzgy of Avondale PA, in addition to his treasured grandchildren Henry, Charles, Ava and Arthur and his nieces and nephews.
If family and friends would like to contribute, donations can be made to the Abraham House in Williams name. The staff there are greatly appreciated for the care they gave him in his final weeks.
