William Grant Carlson passed away on April 14, 2024 in New York City, NY. Will attended Carmel High School where he played hockey and lacrosse. He graduated from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and was involved in Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He lived in New York City where he cultivated a life full of fun and adventure. Will was employed at Cantor Fitzgerald as an Equity Research Associate.
Will lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. His friendships and relationships with his brothers were what he valued most. He had a great career in New York City and loved working in the financial industry. He embraced life with an unparalleled enthusiasm that was truly contagious. As a son, he brought immeasurable joy and pride to his parents. His parents were so proud of everything that he accomplished. Will’s vibrant spirit will never be forgotten.
Will is survived by his parents Bob and Gayle Carlson; brothers Ryan, Bradley and Nick; grandparents Barbara Carlson and Ron and Gloria Kohrman; aunts and uncles Deb Kohrman, Mary and Brian Kinniry, Jennie and Matt Waters, Bill and Konni Carlson, and Brian and Sara Carlson; and cousins John (Ashley) Morken, Amanda (Kyle) Black, Austin (Nicole) Waters, Luke Waters, Chelsea (Dan) Waters, Morgan (Greg) Fean, Kelsey Kinniry, Lauren Kinniry, Collin Kinniry, Micah Carlson, Anaka Carlson, Kiernan Carlson, and Charlie Carlson. Will was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bob Carlson Sr.
Visitation will be 6:30 - 8:30 PM on Friday, April 26th at King of Glory Church (2201 E 106th St, Carmel, IN 46032). A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, April 27th at King of Glory with a celebration of Will’s life immediately following at DeveloperTown, (5255 Winthrop Ave Indianapolis, IN 46220)
