Anthony was the third child born in Detroit, Michigan to Andrew Stremiecki and Stella (Krukowski) Stremiecki.
Tony graduated from Cass Technical High School in Detroit & from the University of Detroit receiving a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
He was employed by the U.S. Civil Service for more than 30 yrs as an auditor & audit manager. He spent 2 years in France and Germany as a civilian auditing military instillations for the U.S. Army.
Tony was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church since 1977. He attended CRHP retreat and co-lead a Bible Study group.
He was the former treasurer for the Catholic Alumni Club of Detroit.
He established and funded the Anthony Stremiecki Scholarship for Accounting students at University of Detroit. He was a former member of the Columbia Club.
Tony is survived by his wife Kathleen (Rogalski) Stremiecki whom he married on August 30, 1969. 2 children: Scott (Kathryn) and Molly (Owen) Long, 4 grandchildren: Hanna, Viktor, James & Oliver. Sister in law: Cynthia (Dan) Herman, Brother in law: Brandon (Kathleen) Rogalski. Nephew: Kyle, Niece: Kelsey.
Tony was predeceased by his parents, infant brother, Andrew and sister, Theresa.
Faith, Family and Friends were important to him.
He was a very humble person.
He was generous with his time and treasure.
Memorial contributions in Tony's name may be made to Merciful Help Center at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.
