William Carr Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lewis Funeral Home - Navarre Chapel on Oct. 1, 2024.
William J. Carr IV, age 33, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the Fort Walton Beach Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. Will was born on May 16, 1991, in Abilene, Texas to Angela F. Holliday and William J. Carr III.
Will traveled the world as a child, accompanying his mom to Japan, Germany, Italy and Egypt. His most memorable trip was when Will and his mom went on a vacation cruise down the Nile River. His love for travel was only surpassed by his love for the University of Texas football team. Will settled in Navarre with his mom in 2006 and was a graduate of Navarre High School, class of 2009. His love of cars led him to become a successful car salesman. Will was an avid golfer and spent many hours on a course with friends and family. His smile, laugh, quick wit, and humor will be sorely missed.
Will was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty E. (Quick) Tuttle; grandfather, Gene Quick; and cousin, Dustin Martella.
He is survived by his parents, Angela F. Holliday (Louis) of Navarre, Florida and William J. Carr III (Sara) of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandmother, Anita Carr of Little Rock; uncle, Harvey Quick (Renea Dowden) of Conway, Missouri; aunt, Amy West (Donnie Mason), and cousin, Emily Webb of Gilbert, Arizona. He is also survived by his aunt, Beth Martella of Little Rock; cousins, Lance Quick (Alissa) along with their children, Rome and Alexandria, all of Marshfield, Missouri, Julia Wear (Patrick) and their children Richard, William and Addison, also of Marshfield, Missouri; and cousins Dillon Martella of Gilbert, Arizona and Darren Martella of Utah. He will be missed by his best friends, Nicholas Seifert and Cameron Harrington of Navarre, Florida. Lastly, Will leaves behind his beloved and loyal Pit Bull, Bella.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a date yet to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local animal shelter.
