William "Bill" Coffey Jr., age 86, sadly passed away at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado on October 21, 2023.
He was born on April 6, 1937 to William Coffey Sr. and Evelyn (Sutherland) Coffey in Bristol, Virginia.
Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force eearning the rank of Private First Class, then serving in the Marine Corps. Reserves before his honorable discharge.
Bill was an avid race car driver for several decades; including off-road raching, dragster racing and stock car racing.
After his time in the military Bill went on to sell RV's before his retirement.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents and sisters Brenda "Joey" Brads and Susan Coffey.
Those left behind to honor Bill's memory are his seven loving children as well as numerous extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Pikes Peak National Cemetery on December 15, 2023 at 1:00PM.
