William M. "Bill" Cooley

William M. Cooley of Norfolk, MA passed away peacefully on December 20th. Bill was born in Newton, MA on June 19, 1939 to the late Margaret and Howard Cooley. He met the love of his life Pauline on a blind date and built a life with her and their two daughters in Medfield. The couple moved to Norfolk in 2012.

He owned Custom Carpet Installations with his lifelong friend Roger Caruso for over 40 years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend with his unparalleled sense of humor and wit. His favorite pastime was watching his New England sports teams especially his Boston Bruins.

Bill was the beloved husband of the late Pauline Cooley and is survived by his children, Susan Reynolds of Wakefield and Laurie Klapka and her husband Jeff of Forest Hill, MD.

He leaves four grandchildren who loved their Papa - Melissa, Michael, Andrew (Allie) and Courtney. He also recently became a great grandfather to Powell Klapka.

Bill was a devoted brother to the late Elizabeth Barrett, Howard Cooley and Carolyn Kenworthy. He was predeceased by his son in law Robert Reynolds and leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Monday December 29th from 10am-12 with a short prayer service at noon.
