William Cordray Obituary

William "Billy" Frazier Cordray, 81, of Berry, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at home. He was born in Harrison County to the late William "Harvey" and Lottie Vanhook Cordray on May 22, 1944. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Wyanda Whitson Cordray; and two sisters, Charlotte Ammerman, Rita Carol Jones.

Billy is survived by a daughter, Michelle T. Cordray; a sister, Wanda Sue (J. Frank) Marsh; granddaughter, Samantha Harley-Michelle Cunningham; great-granddaughter, Addilynn E. Marsh; and a grandson, Trevor Joseph Marsh.

Billy was a retired co-owner of Berry Lumber Company, he farmed and worked at Seagrams Distillery in Lair, KY until it closed. He enjoyed fishing, softball, woodworking and hunting. He was a member of the Licking Valley Bass Club and was their 1995 Angler of the Year.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. in Pythian Grove Cemetery on Friday, November 21, 2025. Marty Ritchie will lead the service. View and sign the guest book at www.warefuneralhome.com.

Sorry to hear about Billy. A really good friend of mine. Worked with him at Seagrams until they closed and saw him a lot at Walmart until he was not able to make it there. We always had a good talk every time we saw each other
