William Henry Cuddy III

William H Cuddy III (Butch), age 64, passed away in Ocean Pines, Maryland on December 27, 2022. Born March 31, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland, he lived in Ocean Pines, Maryland and worked as a Construction Superintendent until starting a family business in 2007 and retiring in 2017. Butch was a member of The American Legion in Berlin, Maryland.
Survivors include his loving wife, Pamela Cuddy of Ocean Pines, MD, his only son William Henry Cuddy IV (Billy) of Berlin, MD along with his wife, Jackie Cuddy; his two daughters, Jessica Lynn Cuddy of Centreville and Jaclyn Elaine Cuddy of Joppa, MD. Butch was "Poppy" to six beautiful grandchildren, Dylan James Grey, 21, Brady David Fischer,12, Blair Delaney Fischer, 11, Cecelia Elizabeth Cuddy, 10, Juliet Adriana Cuddy, 7, and his namesake William Henry Cuddy V (Five), 2.
He was the oldest of four boys; brothers include Joseph Michael Cuddy (Mike) and his wife, Lisa of Hanover, PA, John Alan Cuddy and his wife Kerri of Westminster, MD and Joseph Farrell Cuddy and his wife Ashley of Timonium, MD. He also had two sisters, elder sister Vera Lynn Rosenthal (Lynn) and her husband Mark Rosenthal of Upperco, MD and younger sister Cheryl Ann Cuddy of Baltimore, MD.
He was survived by many nieces and nephews, Jennifer Weissand husband Rich, Joseph Michael Cuddy (Little Mike/Joe) and wife Lindsay, Amanda Cuddy, Krystal Cuddy, Emily Alster and husband Braeden, Joshua Cuddy, Alexa Cuddy, Cameron Cuddy and Mackenzie Cuddy. Also, great nieces and nephews, Aiden Weiss, Madalyn Weiss, Joseph Michael Cuddy III, Leah Cuddy, Carson Slaugh, Kendallyn Brallier, Taylor Cuddy, Delaenie Willour, Kynsleigh Willour, Kali'Ana Willour, Oaklynne Ankney and Luke Alster.
Butch was also survived by many friends that were like family to him. William Henry Cuddy III was preceded in death by his father William Henry Cuddy II and his mother Elizabeth Ann Cuddy.
Butch was a good fisherman, a great storyteller and an even better beer drinker. He will be missed by many. Butch did not wish for any services to be held but greatly appreciated all the visits he received from family and friends while he was still here with us.
