William "Bill" Dale Dalton, passed away on June 17, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, love for music, and cherished family values. He was born on November 3, 1952, in Sandusky, Ohio.
Bill was a dedicated truck driver for many years, displaying not only his strong work ethic but also his commitment to providing for his family. His passion for music, particularly gospel, resonated throughout his life, bringing joy to those around him. He was a talented musician who played both guitar and piano, often using his gifts to encourage and uplift others.
His enduring love for his family is reflected in his marriage to his beloved wife, Jannie Dalton. Together, they nurtured a close-knit family that included their children, David Dalton and Hope Noel, as well as their beloved grandchildren, Jack, Dorian and Taylor Noel. Bill also shared a special bond with his brothers, Frank (Minnie) Dalton, Earl (Lee) Dalton, Ray Dalton, and Chet (Patty) Dalton who recently passed away.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Elmer Dalton and Christine (Richards) Dalton, who he will be reunited with in eternal peace.
Bill’s spirit will continue to echo through the lives he touched, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of his family and friends. He will be remembered fondly for his hard work and unwavering love for his family.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Cremation will follow in accordance with Bill's wishes.
