William W. "Bill" Darrington, age 82, passed away peacefully at Primrose Assisted Living on February 27, 2025.

He was born January 14, 1943, to the late William and Mabel (Gravert) Darrington in Council Bluffs, IA. Bill graduated from Tri-Center High School with the class of 1961 and was a lifelong farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lola Graalfs.

Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty (Hadfield) Darrington; daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie & Randy Orme of Red Oak, Iowa; son and daughter-in-law, Bill & Rebecca Darrington; grandchildren, Jason (Sara) Orme, Lucas (Julie) Orme, Caleb (Abbey) Orme, and Brayden (Navi) Darrington, Nathan (Heidi) Hood, Adam Hood, and Laura Hood; great grandchildren, Boone, Josie, Penny, Henry, James and Owen Orme; Sutton and Sawyer Darrington; Jacob, Joshua, Josephine and Josiah Hood; special lifelong friend, Cleone Kuster; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, March 02, 2025. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, March 3, 2025. Interment is in the Grange Cemetery. The family will direct memorials in Bill's honor.
