Jorgen Christoffersen Obituary
Jorgen Paul Christoffersen, age 63, of Dayton, Texas, passed away on September 2, 2025 in Dayton, Texas.
He was born August 2, 1962 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Paul and Leana Mae Darnold Christoffersen. He graduated from Underwood High School with the class of 1980 and then attended Iowa State University for mechanical engineering.
Jorgen was named after his great-great grandfather who had immigrated from Denmark in 1877.
He had worked for various environmental and petroleum companies as a pipefitter.
Jorgen is survived by his parents, Paul and Leana of Underwood, Iowa; brother, Terry Christoffersen of Woodstock, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Davin Christoffersen of Ozark, Arkansas.
Memorial service will be at 7:30PM on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Saint Paul Lutheran Church Neola – Boomer Township. The family will receive friends during the hour prior to the service.
