William Dean Obituary
Memorial services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the First Presbyterian Church of Copperas Cove, 704 Martin Luther King Jr Dr. Copperas Cove, TX 76522. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX, with Pastor Naomi officiating.
William was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan to the late Albert and Helen Dean on March 11, 1942. He grew up in Benton Harbor and attended Coloma High School until he joined the United States Army and retired as a Sergeant Major. William then began a second career in Civil Service at Fort Hood for 15 years as GS11.
He met and later married his wife, Alice, in 1974, in Killeen, TX.
William was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Helen; two brothers; and one sister.
William is survived by his wife of 50 years, Alice; three sons, and two daughters; two stepchildren; sister, Lori McCoy; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Copperas Cove, 704 Martin Luther King Jr Dr. Copperas Cove, TX 76522.
