I went to Navy Fire Control Technician school with Bill from April 1967 to January 1968. We became friends in a very short period of time as is easy to do when you serve with someone. After he went to the next level school on the East coast I went to my next level in California.
I always referred to him as my little brother.
We kept in touch for a number of years where the conversations lessened. I eventually lost contact with him, sadly.
Linda gave me his last phone number but he never called.
He was a great guy and I missed him.
Linda just informed me of his passing.
Ride your Harley up in the clouds Big Guy.
