William Dennison Obituary
William "Bill" Arthur Dennison, 87, of Springfield, died April 15, 2023 at home.
Born June 27, 1935 in Springfield, he was the son of the late Walter and Vista (Eye) Dennison.
He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Josephine Dennison; a son, Rusty Dennison; a step-son, Gary Likin; two sisters, Mary Landis and Stella Barnes; and a great grandson, Harley Shreve.
Mr. Dennison was retired from WV State Roads, where he had been a truck driver.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Marjorie (Spurling) Dennison; son, Kenny Dennison; step-sons, Blane Likin and Wayne Likin; two sisters, Judith Yaider and Elva Hughes; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Inc., Fort Ashby, on Friday from 11 AM until 1 PM. The funeral service will follow at 1 PM, with Pastor Wes Beahm, officiating.
Interment will be in the Dennison Family Cemetery.
