William James Eberlein, age 60, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 7, 2022, while on vacation with his family in Denver, CO. Bill was born to Kenneth & Frances in St. Paul, MN. He was the youngest of three children. At the age of 8, Bill’s father passed away unexpectedly, which left a life-long loss in his heart.
Bill was a humble and faithful man, he treasured his family, and was grateful for his strong, long-lasting friendships. He had a heartfelt way of touching people’s lives. He believed he represented the meaning of his name, William which means “great protector” and James which means “truthful”.
He will be dearly missed by the love of his life, Shannon. His greatest joy was being a dad to his children, William, Catherine, Aaron, Andrew, son-in-law Raphael, and our “meep meep” Allie. He was devoted to his mother, Frances, and siblings Kathryn and John. He was welcomed, loved, and formed strong relationships with his extended family Kelly, Bethany, Kieran, Jeffrey, Heather, Kelly, and his former wife, Sheila, and a loving uncle to Melissa, Amanda, Erik, Jack, Savannah, Kelly Braeden, and Maggie.
Bill always took the scenic route, not necessarily the fastest route, as he enjoyed the journey. He was an avid bird watcher, fisherman, outdoorsman, and Viking fan. Bill loved to talk, share stories, and discuss a wide variety of topics. We will miss his smile and lively spirit.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, from 2 to 5 PM at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 21 at 11 AM at St. Mary of the Lake Church 4741 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, with visitation an hour before the mass.
