William J. “Bill” Eleyet, 47, of West Mansfield, passed away at 1:17 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the Kobacker House in Columbus, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on May 20, 1978, to Robert (Gidget) Eleyet and Patrcia (Folk) Eleyet, who survive.
On May 17, 2013, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, he married Alicia (Morris) Eleyet and she also survives.
Along with his parents, and wife, Bill is survived by his daughters, Roslyn Underwood and Rileigh Eleyet; beloved aunt, Sandra Eleyet; siblings, Robert (Jessica) Eleyet, Ken Eleyet (Heather), Stephen (Dallas) Workman, Angel Brown (Mike), Ashley (John) Morrow, Amber Eleyet (Dallas), Tiffany (Glen) Dickerson, and Nikole (Brian) Hensley; uncle, Ken (Tina) Folk, and his in-laws, Artamia, Crystal, Shelbi (Jordan) and Drew.
Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Elizabeth Folk, Junior and Pat Eleyet, Lowell and Jocele Brenner; his aunt, Debra Tipple; brother-in-law, Timothy; and niece, Lucy.
Bill was employed at Honda of America for nearly two decades, most recently serving as a Global Specification Controller. He was highly skilled in solving the Rubik's cube within 30 seconds and was proficient in ninja warrior techniques. Bill practiced karate with his daughter, Rileigh, and was a member of the Rushsylvania Church of Christ. An enthusiast of Marvel movies, Superman, and Star Wars, Bill also enjoyed traveling and occasionally indulging in a glass of Guinness beer.
A gathering for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Rushsylvania Church of Christ, located at 170 E. Mill Street, Rushsylvania. Pastor John Watkins will officiate the memorial service following the visitation at 5:00 p.m. at the church. After the conclusion of the memorial service, there will be a time of food and fellowship.
