With full hearts, we celebrate the life of William Farris, 29, who passed away on March 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Will lived a life rich with joy, adventure, love, and meaningful connections. His spirit will continue to bring light to everyone who knew him.
Will grew up in
Harlingen, Texas. Early on, he attended Saint Alban's Episcopal School, where he built friendships that lasted a lifetime especially with his best friend, Hunter Snell, who remained like a brother through every stage of life.
Will later attended Harlingen High School and during his time there, he was fortunate enough to meet his soulmate, Nikki Fleuriet. Their story blossomed into a lifelong partnership filled with devotion, shared dreams, and countless adventures. Last July, they got married and had their dream wedding in Ranton, France a place they explored and treasured together.
Will graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station with a degree in Industrial Engineering, a testament to his sharp mind and natural problem-solving talents. After college, he and Nikki moved to Colorado where he worked for Ball Aerospace, embracing a new chapter together. Eventually, they returned to Texas and settled in Boerne to be near family and the people they cherished most.
Will's love for the outdoors began in childhood during the many hours he spent with his Grandpa, who taught him not only how to appreciate nature but also passed down lessons that shaped his character for years to come.
Some of his passions included spearfishing, bow hunting, hiking, reading, and frisbee golf. He also enjoyed summers on South Padre Island working as a captain pulling banana boats with his best friends.
Will also had a special place in his heart for his dogs; Shadow, Bailey, and Zoey each of whom brought him joy, companionship, and countless happy memories through so many stages of life. Most of all, Will was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and so much more to so many people. He was thoughtful, kindhearted, and witty. Over the past few years, Will showed incredible strength and determination, facing challenges with courage and grace that inspired everyone around him.
Will's life was filled with love for adventure, his wife, his family, and the people lucky enough to know him. His memory will continue to bring comfort, smiles, and a feeling of warmth to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Will is survived by his loving wife, Nikki Farris, and by his parents, Stanley and Leslie Woelfel. He is also survived by his brothers, Ryan Bull and his wife Meghan, and Reagan Bull and his wife Mollie. Will adored his nieces and nephew Austin, McKenzie, Addie, Emmie, Pennie, and Maggie who brought him immeasurable joy. He is additionally survived by his father- and mother-in-law, Ken and Kari Fleuriet, as well as his brother-in-law, Matthew Fleuriet.
