William Fell Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Adams Funeral Home - Woodstown on Feb. 24, 2023.
William "Ted" Fell, of Pilesgrove, died February 20, 2023. He professed Jesus as his Savior and is now in Heaven, relieved of his sickness and suffering.
Ted was born at Salem Memorial Hospital in 1957. He and his older brother, Tom, were raised in several foster homes in Upper Pittsgrove Township. By his mid-teens, he lastly came to stay with the Paul and June Elwell family at Pole Tavern and call them Dad and Mom. He also gained three brothers and a sister.
He married Gail Fell (nee Wood) and they made their home in Bridgeton, NJ. Over the years he worked various jobs, including at Martin Dye, Smith & Richards Lumber, the warehouse at Seabrook Farms and, most recently, as a janitor at the Gloucester County Christian School. Gail died when their son was 5 years old, and Ted was determined that his son would not become a foster child. So, for the following years, he worked and was Mr. Mom to his son, being at home for him as much as possible.
Ted was predeceased by his brother, Tom, wife, Gail, and her daughter Vicki. He is survived by their son, Joseph Fell, of Pilesgrove, a daughter Jamie of TX, foster siblings Dennis (Ruth) Elwell and Judy (Lee) Harrison of TN, Don Elwell of Woodstown, Douglas (Pearl) Elwell of Millville, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
