William "Bill" Flickinger

William "Bill" Flickinger, beloved husband of 46 years to Nancy Flickinger (nee Warren). Loving father of Joseph (Kathleen) Flickinger, Michael (Mary Beth) Flickinger, and Lauren Flickinger. Cherished grandpa of Erin, Ryan, Kelsey, Ava, Emily, and Allie Flickinger. Dear brother of Mary Ann (Mark Reilly) Flickinger. Also survived by an uncle and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents John and Margaret Flickinger.
Bill was born in Linz, Austria in 1950 and became a naturalized citizen of the US in 1958. He served in the United States Army from 1970-1972 and was stationed in Heidelberg, Germany. He then worked in the Supply Department of the VA Medical Center where he retired after 30 years of dedicated service. Bill was a Board member of the Bridgetown Cemetery Association since 1985 and later served as President. In his spare time he enjoyed listening to The Beatles, studying history, grilling, being with his family, and sporting events and games such as bowling, football, baseball, and soccer.
Bill passed away May 28, 2023 at the age of 73. Family will receive friends Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 5pm-7pm at the Neidhard Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Ave. There will not be a service.
