William Bruce Fox, age 55, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born in Corbin, he was the son of the late Willard Fox and Bonnie Holloway Fox. Bruce was an adventurous soul who lived life to its fullest. Known for his unwavering reliability, he was a man of generous heart, whose love for his family and friends was as vast as the prairies he often traversed on horseback. His passion for equestrian adventures was only matched by his dedication to hard work, having dedicated many years of his life to S&K Sealing and Striping.
Bruce was a beacon of strength and tenacity for those around him, but what truly set him apart was his loving nature, always ready to lend a helping hand or a comforting word. His life was a testament to the fact that the value of a man resides in what he gives, not in what he is capable of receiving. His love, his generosity, and his spirit of adventure will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know and love him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Murrell, Marvin, and Michael Fox.
He is survived by his children, James Fox (Ashley), Trent Fox (Fiancé Emily), Trevor Fox (Brianna), Jake Rowe and family, and Kendra Rowe and family; grandchildren, Izabella and Khloe Fox, and Skylar; brothers, Gerald Fox (Shelly), Doyle Fox, and Darvin Fox all of Corbin; sisters, Chris Garvin (Charles) of Georgetown, KY, Lisa Martin (Bob) of Corbin, and Tammy Gales (Tim) of Lexington, KY; special cousins that were like brothers, Joey Wilson, James Myers and Jimbo Grisby ; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
