Rollinsford – William J. Foxlow, Jr., 90, of Willey St. died Saturday September 26th after a brief illness at his home with his family by his side.

Born in Dover on September 1, 1919 the son of William J. and Clara (Snowdon) Foxlow he was a graduate of Rollinsford Schools and attended Berwick Academy. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War II and a life member of the Rollinsford Post #47, American Legion.

Prior to his retirement he was a 38-year employee of General Electric Co. He loved gardening, fishing and playing cribbage. He was a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan but was happy when the Red Sox won the World Series.

He is survived by his wife of 51-years Jeanette (Brown) Foxlow, a son William J. Foxlow, III and wife Lisa of Rollinsford, a daughter Jennifer Penny and husband Brian of Norfolk, VA, four grandchildren William, IV, Nicholas, and Jessica Foxlow, Sean Penny as well as 5 step-grandchildren Danielle, Joshua, Jackie, Justin and Brandon, 3 step-great-grandchildren and a nephew.

He was predeceased by his stepson Dennis M. Libby, and his sisters Vivian Dixon, Beulah Bruce and Doris Edgar.

Friends are invited to call Saturday October 3rd form 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the McIntire-McCooey Funeral Home, 301 Main St., South Berwick, ME where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be private for the family in Old Town Cemetery, Rollinsford.
