Memorial services for William "Bill" Freeman III, 65, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday May 23, 2024 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel; Bud Ross will officiate.
Mr. Freeman passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 at his home in Ada. William Oscar Freeman III, born May 17, 1959 in Ada, Oklahoma to Joetta "Jane" Gallahar and William O Freeman, Jr. He graduated from Slaton High School in 1977.
He was of Church of Christ faith.
Mr. Freeman was the owner of Freeman's Business Machines from 1986 to 2014 until his retirement. He serviced typewriters and copiers all throughout central and southern Oklahoma. He enjoyed the mechanics of breaking down and fixing machines and even when his business grew, he still made service calls often.
Bill was a United States veteran serving in the marine corps, he served his country proudly. He volunteered his time to help many disabled veterans over the years through the AMVETS National Service Foundation by assisting veterans with advice and helping to complete paperwork.
He is survived by his children, Brandy O'Neal and husband, Kevin of Ada and Greg Freeman of Galey; grandchildren, Hunter Cornelius, Hannah Cornelius and Brynlee Russell all of Ada; stepfather, Frank Savage; brothers, Tim Freeman and Frankie Savage; sisters, Neva Johnson, Mary Coffey, D'Alpha Rodriguez, Bobbie Ashcraft and Amy Stinson; and special friend, Leslie Hull.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Justin Freeman.
