William and Amelia Gnadinger

Louisville - William "Bill" H. Gnadinger, 90, of Louisville, entered Eternal Life on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Amelia "Peach" Dillman Gnadinger, 88, of Louisville, joined her husband of 64 years on Saturday, September 4, 2021.

Bill was born in Louisville to the late Robert, Sr. and Pauline Gnadinger and retired as a pressman from Standard Gravure. He was a Kentucky Colonel and member of St. John Paul II, formerly St. Barnabas Catholic Church. Bill was a Navy veteran during the Korean War.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert Gnadinger, Jr., A. Joseph Gnadinger, Paul Gnadinger, and Richard Gnadinger; and sister, Jean Gnadinger.

Peach was born in Louisville to the late Jacob and Amelia Dillman. She was a member of St. John Paul II, formerly St. Barnabas Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Gnadinger; parents; siblings, Jacob Dillman, Cornelia Hess, Jerome Dillman, Frank Dillman, Rita Stephenson, Anna Tino, and Leo Dillman.

Carrying on Bill and Peach's legacy are their children, Diana Cecil (Frank), Debra Sturgeon, James Gnadinger (Sharon), Michael Gnadinger (Melody), and Paula Coleman (Brian); 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and Peach's brothers, Adam and John Dillman.

Funeral Mass for Bill and Peach will be at 9 AM on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at St. John Paul II, 3521 Goldsmith Lane, with entombment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 PM on Friday, September 17 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road.
