Of Wells Bridge

William W. "Bill" Goodrich, 91 of Wells Bridge died Friday July 4, 2025 at his home. He was born Oct. 2, 1933 in Wells Bridge to Dewey & Gladys (DeShaw) Goodrich. He married Elizabeth Selleck on July 9, 1960 at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Unadilla. He was a retired Deliveryman for Agway in Colliersville. He was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, member of Tri Town F & AM, 75 year member of Wells Bridge Fire Dept., Sidney American Legion, Unadilla Rod and Gun Club and a US Air Force veteran. He was the former Caretaker of Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Unadilla. Bill, loved to spending time with his family and watching the grandkids sporting events. Family was everything to him! He was someone you could always count on to get the job done.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betsy, 3 children, Scott Goodrich & Brenda Curtis, Lorrie Barber, Mike & Dr. Brenda Goodrich, 11 grandchildren, Jade (Colton), Jordan (Matthew), Haley, & Emily; Erik, Kaleigh (Brad), Ethan (Torri), Korrin; Matthew (Shelby), Zachary (Rachael), & Justin (Tori), 3 great grandchildren, Reed, Griffen, & Lainey with one due in Dec. and also several nieces, nephews and other family.

He was predeceased by his siblings, and his son-in-law, Jerry Barber.

The family will receive friends at the Westcott-Madden Funeral Home 123 Main Street Unadilla on Mon. July 14, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. A Masonic Service will be held on Mon. at 7 p.m. Following calling hours, family and friends can gather at the Wells Bridge Fire House. Private Graveside Services will be held in Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Unadilla. Memorial contributions may be made to Wells Bridge Fire Dept. 116 County Rd. 4 Wells Bridge, NY 13859.
