William Eugene Greene

Mr. William Eugene "Bill" Greene, age 76 of Rockwood, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025. He was born on December 12, 1948. He retired from the Dept. of Labor where he worked for many years as a transporter. Bill was a proud Christian and loved the Lord with all his heart. He is preceded in death by his parents: William & Sarah Greene; brothers: J.C. Greene & Walter D. "Donnie" Greene Sr; Grandparents: Charles and Ella Beason, and Joshua and Hattie Greene; nephew: Joshua Chambers; great niece: Hope Greene; 1st wife: Linda Jane Greene; and his 2nd wife: Mary Sue Greene. Survivors include: 

2 Brothers: George Greene & James Michael Greene

3 Sisters: Ella Sue Sheldon (Mickey), Rebecca "Becky" Reed, and Carla Collins

and a host of nieces, nephews great nieces and nephews that he loved as if they were his own children, several aunts and uncles and cousins

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm ET with Bro. Charles Slatton & Bro. Dusty Watson officiating. Cremation arrangements have been made and a private interment will be held at a later date. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. William Eugene "Bill" Greene.
