William Griswell Obituary
Mr. Griswell is survived by wife Wanda Griswell; his daughters Judy McGiboney and Darlene Smith; his grandchildren Kenny Cartledge, Chase McGiboney, Andrea Fuesting, Brandy Casey, and Hunter Smith. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Kayla, Brittany, Noah, Lilly, Austin, Dylan, and Madison; his great-great grandchildren De Angelo and Kay Loni; his siblings Barbara Staples, Dianne Kuykendall, Robert Griswell, Ricky Griswell, James Huffman, and DeeDee Day; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Griswell will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Central Church, 11157 City Pond Road, Covington, GA 30014.

I moved in with Jimmy and Joyce Anderson, during my high school years, we were just a couple of houses up from the Griswell family on Pickett Bridge Road. I just remember going over to their house and he and Jimmy fishing and frog gigging in the pond by their house. We had so much fun having cook outs and holiday gatherings. I think it is incredible that he and Wanda were married for 63 years. That is amazing! What a celebration of life well lived. Thoughts of love and condolences for the whole amazing family.
